Referral Process:

Following an initial assessment session with parents/carers, your child will be offered 12 sessions of Play Therapy. Each session lasts 45 minutes.  Every child is different and after 6-8 a weeks a review session with parents/carer will determine a planned ending or extended intervention

Play Therapy is based upon the fact that play is the child's natural medium of self-expression. It is an opportunity which is given to the child to 'play out' his feelings and problems just as, in certain types of adult therapy, an individual 'talks out' his difficulties.
